SACT – Students Against Child Trafficking is a non-profit organization that seeks to educate school

SACT International is the leading organization in PREVENTIVE education in combating child trafficking and exploitation world wide. 
Together, we can protect vulnerable children and eliminate the demand for victim services. SACT International’s mission is to empower students through peer2peer communications to Detect, Defend, and Disrupt predators in their own environment by raising awareness, preventing victimization, and reducing the demand.

The challenge

The original SACT website had a powerful mission—fighting child trafficking—but it struggled to turn that mission into action. Built over time by various volunteers, the site lacked consistency, clarity, and direction. As a result, potential donors and sponsors often left without understanding what SACT stood for or how they could help.

Key pain points included:

  • Unclear Messaging: The site didn’t clearly communicate the urgency of SACT’s work or the impact they were making.

  • Poor Donation Experience: Givebutter forms were off-site and not well-integrated, making it harder for visitors to donate or follow through.

  • Disjointed Design: The layout felt cluttered and outdated, making it hard to navigate or take action.

  • Limited Functionality: WIX didn’t provide the flexibility needed to grow, especially with SACT offering free online courses for school-aged children on how to spot and prevent human trafficking.

To fix this, we migrated the entire website to LearnWorlds. The new platform supports SACT’s educational mission, unifies their messaging, and provides a cleaner, more intuitive experience. With a streamlined design, embedded donation options, and a centralized hub for their online courses, SACT is now equipped to engage donors, educate youth, and grow their impact.

We refined their messaging to focus on clarity and action—making it easy for visitors to understand what SACT does, why it matters, and how they can get involved. Donation opportunities were brought into the user journey more seamlessly by embedding Givebutter forms where they made the most impact. The online learning area was restructured into a clean, centralized hub for students, parents, and educators, making it easier to access free courses on spotting and preventing child trafficking.

The Results
Since the migration, SACT has seen a measurable boost in engagement across the board.   • Migrated and structured their free online courses for school-aged children directly into LearnWorlds, creating a seamless educational hub.

  • Designed student- and teacher-friendly course pages with progress tracking, video lessons, and downloadable resources to support engagement.

Donation Experience Improvement
